I did MASSIVE improvements towards movement, jumping, falling, diagonal movement, et. But honestly all I did was fix the velocity being added twice (it was added both in the base each inhernited class), and make it so you build up velocity and release velocity when released!

I haven't really worked ont it to-to much on it as I was mostly working on my game.

Yep it's October, that is all!

Yeah it is almost October! Only one day away, October is one of my favourite months. I mean I was born in it so I am pretty much forced to at least tolerate it lol. I really do not that much Halloween stuff, but I do some. I mostly just like it for the weather, not too cold and not too hot. I mean I don't mind the cold for the most part, but whenever it is cold and I have anything in my breast pocket (even the tiniest of things), it hurts (sorry for the TMI).

It is going well for the most part, expect for the HTML. I am trying to figure out what tag I forgot to close and what I am doing wrong, and yeah it's a pain (god do I hate HTML sometimes). Should be out sometime this week, maybe Wednesday or Thursday.

Yep for my C# Intro class I had ANOTHER 5 hour programming session for Part 1 of 2 for an assigment, granted it was the longest part, the second part is easy as pi. To be fair a lot it is my own fault, because I didn't read the part where it says no case statments untuil an hour or two in, so I had to fix that. I also had issue with my saving logic and stuff. I got it in the end.

Yeah I am working on a guide on how to directy read the bytes of a BMP and display it! It should be ready for tommrow!

I have been hard at work on my new game called "Whatever You Do Don't Stop Running", multiplayer is working alright (I still needed to debug with a mate). I added two more of the 8 characters I plan to add, I added a game win state (not fully finished). I started work on settings and save data, I think I also am going to work on screenshots as well. I most of the time layout this blog with the peveiw entry as the first part/section of this blog but for the 'main' section of the blog I kinda of do need to show you this song. (It is very good btw)!

So in the first section I mention the song "Brimful of Asha!", and me listening to this song has led me to finding this show called "Chuck". I first found it when searching for the music video on of the song on the tube. I found a clip of this show with the song playing!



So this clip lead me to researching more about this show. According to this wikipedia article "Chuck is an American action comedy spy drama television series created by Josh Schwartz and Chris Fedak. The series is about an "average computer-whiz-next-door" named Chuck Bartowski, played by Zachary Levi, who receives an encoded email from an old college friend now working for the CIA. The message embeds the only remaining copy of a software program containing the United States' greatest spy secrets into Chuck's brain, leading the CIA and the NSA to assign him handlers and use him on top-secret missions.". And that summary has sparked my intrest, so I watched this reveiw by a YouTube of the name of "Cloudy TV", see here:



And this video really sparked my intrested. I'll probbaly be buying a DVD of the series, or something. But I am going to be waiting untuil I get my iPod Video to watch it on. Since it seems like the perfect kind of TV Series to watch on that 'ol ipod (I cannot wait, it ships from Indiana).

So for the past few years there really hasen't been a 'new' game (besides Helldivers/Silksong/Tears Of The Kingdom) that has really sparked my intrested in quite the same way that this new sonic game has. You see I really REALLY enjoyed the previous sonic racing games (these were GREAT games), and when I heard about this game I really have wanted it. So I have been very tempted to buy it, my real issue is that it is quite pricey (69.99! yikes), but I am leaning towards buying it. A mate of mine has bought it, I'll probbaly ask him Monday how he feels about it.

So Sunday, I recently just remembered the song called 'Candy', by Robbie Williams and yeah I love it. You have to listen to it! It is just so damn good. Look here:

I tweaked the heights and widths of images and iframes (will tweak more later, they do look a little funky at the momment, but are much better on mobile!). But the biggest thing I did was fix that scroll issue for mobile devices (where there's whitespace you can scroll to in the x-axis)!

It was a hit! My mates liked my new and improved recipe more than the last one, which I am surpised. As I mentioned in yesterday's blog it may have been a bit underbaked, and I may have messed up the spices. But whatever, alls well, that ends well!

My my game is going very well, I finished the select stage abiltly, improved netcode and the UI a bit, and a whole lot more todat. I will probbaly show an image tommrow or saturday! I wasen't able to playtest with a mate, but we'll do it this weekend. It is insane all the progress I have made in just two weeks ya'll!

Yeah, so a day after my 6 hour and 30 minute long insanity session yesterday, I have spare time! So I decided to play some more Leagacy4J, here's two images!

For the longest time, this website had MASSIVE issues on mobile, and also had a lot of invalid tags in its HTML; so I have been slowly updating and cleaning up this site when I can, and I made some pretty big improvements tonight. Bellow here is a list of what I have done so far.

-Removed all px from iframes and images as turns out these don't like em as width

-Fixed all images tags by replacing them with 'img' rather than 'image'

-Fixed layout for phones and devices with a small screen (rn only here in blogs, will apply soon to all pages in the coming days).

-Cleaned up the src.

-Moved more images to 'local' storage rather than a direct link in case they get pulled

-And probbaly more I forgot

Yeah so I finnaly got the time to bake pumpkin bread again. It is the same recipe, but I added cloves (and pumpkin pie spice, oops, didn't realize that oh wait we already add the ingredents found in pumkin pie spice lol). I don't think it turned out looking as good as last time , haven't tasted it yet. I am probbaly going to try to have some of my mates taste it and see how they think of it. But I have atatched an image of it bellow. It is giving almost boneappletea vibes lol.

It is going very well! Movement is sycned (and direction) across the client and server, GameTime, it is by no means complete but very good progress. I have yet to test 3 players which I will soon, but hopefully it should go over smoothly. I am currently working on the map select screen, I am almost done I think as far as I recall I just have to fix a file path for loading the map it grabs its exesation which is a no go for how MonoGame works, I was just about to fix it but I had to do other stuff. I also worked on a 2nd map for testing and such, but still there's a lot of work to be done! I am probbaly going to test this game with a mate (or two) thursday/friday/weekend! I'll probbaly show screenshots soon or maybe make an article on devolpment so far in a more detailed article, mind you these blogs are just sort of my short thoughts most of the time.

So last month I decided that I wanted to get an iPod to take around with me for music and such, since I like to keep my phone powered off and away most of the time to save battery, and they're also cool. After some duckduckgoing, I ended up settling on an iPod Nano 7th gen since they are dece tly prices here in where I live to see if I would want to get a more 'classic' ipod to mod and such. And it has been treating me quite well, expect for the storage/battery life, now storage is okay for now but it'd be nice to have like 80gbs and such, but the battey life is the real kicker. It is okay but I'd like more. The issue is it is quite hard (not impossible like most nanos expect for the 6th/7th) to, and there's no games (just like the PS3 and PS5 lol) to replace the battery without breaking it. I will probbaly write up a full article on the nano at some point in the near term, probbaly when I have nothing better to do.

Anyways all of that has lead me (and DankPods) looking for an iPod for me to mod, mess around with, and use. Also my birthday is coming up as well so eh why not an old nugget treat? The 1st through photos do not have video, and say what you wanna say but I like watching videos on an iPod for some reason (they don't look half bad on my nano 7th, even at like 350kpbs at like 240p or less). Of course all other nanos have the same issues of my nano when it comes to modding and such (and worse minus the 6th gen), and the minis also don't have video. Now the 6th and 7th gens looked very intresting, BUT they're a pain in the ass to open, seriously look here. It is hard than my Nano 7th gen, and there's an almost 100% chance you'll bend the case and have to buy a new one.

It is so insane, look at how hard it is to repair a nano 7th gen, it's easier! The 7th gen is pretty much the same as the 6th so same issue. So that leads me with really two choices, and 5 or a 5.5! Well okay there really isn't a 5.5 officialy, but that's what every calls it. They're easy to repair, and mod, and they're cool (also charging via usb is nice but I think all classics above 3 or 4 can iirc that's when they did 32pin!), and have game support for some reason (fucking sonic is on it, see the video and or image (image credit is from that video) ). I ended up going with an 80gb model 5.5 (all offical 80gbs are 5.5), as they got the 64mb of ram and are bigger and can fit a bigger battery with a flash stroage mod! So yeah that is pretty much it, I'll update ya'll in a few weeks when if I get it. I have an image of the iPod I probbaly will orded (or have), it's a thick boy!

Sorry for a small blog entry today. It is 23:56 at the time of me writing this, as I spent 6 hours and 30 mintes for a CISS assigment. The teacher made us do multiplaction/division with loops and a whole hell of a lot of other pain in the ass things for a windows form app. Yep so I am a bit pissed since I wanted to bake bread and shit, oh well. I just finished this entry at 23:58, so I still updated it within the day!
